MAY 16, 2022 -- Yagottawanna

This week we went to migrations to get my paperwork done and we sat there for six hours woof.

We had exchanges! We were gonna go have exchanges w las Hermanas de La Falda but their bus broke down so . . . surprise! The AP's called us and said we'd have exchanges with the sisters in Carlos Paz!! Which was SO FUN because that was my first area here in Argentina. All four of us stayed in their area and while Hermana Anderson y Plata went to teach their friends Hermana Quezada and I went out finding!!

We also had a Relief Society crocheting activity haha! I don't have the pictures from that but these ladies are so sweet. I'm starting to really like Villa Allende.

The title of this email is "yougottawanna" . . . which is also the title of a General Conference talk from 1991 that I really liked this week. I've been feeling the drag! It's starting to get cold here, the people are out less, it feels like stuff has slowed down a bit. It's a choice every day to be excited and just throw every piece of yourself into the work. It's the days where you feel unmotivated when discipleship and perseverance really count. The Lord has miracles in store those days so the devil tries super hard to impede the work!

Helaman 3:29 says, "Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked—"

Whosoever will, MAY!!! If you really wanna, you can! It's more than just desires, it's the determination to follow through.

Yougottawanna my friends. And then when you fall short, Christ makes up the difference. Leading us through the snares of the devils and strengthening us with His word.

Love ya! I hope you're all doing wonderful! Have a good one!!
