Hi!! I have a new companion, Hermana Plata, and I get to hang out in Carlos Paz for another transfer!! I can't even tell you how much I love it here, well some days no... but really I love this city and serving here.
We had two baptisms this past two weeks.
Graciela! We found her sitting outside her house with a really badly sprained ankle my first week here and went to talk to her... and here we are now:) She was baptized March 19. And just two days ago, we got to go with her to the Temple with her for her first time! It was really sweet and in her own words, "I feel like in the temple the heavens are open."
Rosa!! Her entire family are converts, a couple months back we visited them and she wanted to learn more. She was baptized yesterday. When she hugged me I almost cried... wet hair from the baptism and all. I really have so much love for both of them.
The Lord really is preparing hearts. Putting people in our path. It's wonderful.
My dad told me this morning, "The harder you work the luckier you get" so watch out. I'm gonna start working harder and start getting luckier and luckier (luck from the Lord!!!)
Also this week, I've just been thinking about Christ as my Redeemer. He truly is our advocate with the Father and because of Christ we can be clean, pure, and whole and return to live with God again. I love how simple the Gospel is.
"But behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love"
