OCTOBER 14, 2021 — PROBABLY THE BEST WEEK DE ME VIDA

I'll just put this right in the beginning. I'm so grateful for my family. You are the light of my life! I am so grateful for you and your righteous examples to me.

Mom and Dad:  You are the most Christlike people I know and each day you inspire me to be better.

I am truly feeling the joy that comes from missionary work. I feel so spectacular. Truly the Lord has blessed us so immensely and the miracles are so easy to recognize. I have been focusing more on hope this week and remembering, "no pierda la esperanza!" (Don't lose hope) and "Look unto Me in every thought, DOUBT NOT FEAR NOT" (Doctrine and Covenants 3:36) There is no need to doubt when are eyes are single to Him!

Some miracles this week FIRST AND FOREMOST IS ONE OF OUR FRIENDS.  I can not express to you the joy in our hearts because of him. Here on Temple Square, we usually meet someone once and then never see them again. We met Ron about a month ago on a tour of Historic Temple Square. We had stayed in contact off and on and finally we were able to have a zoom call with him to have a lesson about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon. Let just say after our hour together, I could've passed away and ascended straight into eternal bliss.

He expressed to us his experience at Temple Square and how during our tour, he could feel God speaking to him through us. He couldn't remember anything about the buildings or the temple or the history, but he remembered how the Spirit made him feel. That he could feel there was something exquisitely different at Temple Square. Something different about us. He expressed to me how much my testimony meant to him. That the conviction I had in belief of Jesus Christ touched him. It was so humbling and gratifying to know what we do truly is making a difference.

I feel lifted by the Savior this week. There are so many joys but also many sorrows that accompany serving a mission  that's what makes the joys even sweeter<3). During those sad moments, I turn to prayer and can feel so distinctly the comfort and peace that comes from the Holy Ghost. I can almost feel the arms of my Savior wrapped around me. Someone told me this week that when we feel as though we are at our lowest, that's when the Savior is closest to us. When there's only one pair of footprints in the sand, it's not that Christ stopped walking with us, but that He is carrying us. What a blessing to be able to know His true nature. To know of, and have tasted of His goodness and "feel to sing the song of redeeming love" (Alma 5:26)

I love you all. It even feels a little cheesy saying it but it's true. Don't be a stranger!
