FEBRUARY 28, 2022 -- THIS WEEK WAS REALLY GOOD!!

Monday: Bad

Tuesday: Crazy. Worked really really hard.

Wednesday: District Council with the gooniest district in the world:') ALSO we have new standard of excellence for the mission. Each companionship is working to find eight new people to teach in a week and baptize four every month! We're working really hard with a couple friends to prepare them for their baptisms and I'm just absolutely stoked.

Thursday: We went to the center of Carlos Paz to teach our friend Omar and that was awesome. AND in that same hour WE RAN INTO SOMEONE WE MET TWO WEEKS AGO but lost contact with! AND THEN we ran into another friend who hadn't responded to us in a lil (awkward for us) JUST after! The Lord 100% made our paths align and I was so grateful. Then we took the bus to a little town about 30 mins outside the city to teach our favorite family. On the ride over, we taught four different people and took two of their phone numbers! I love days like this.

Friday: Exchanges!! I spent the day in the center of Córdoba with Hermana Flores. very fun! and really cool to teach some of their friends.

Saturday: Pablito was baptized!! We were very proud <3

Something that really touched me from this week was an experience I had on Thursday (Thursday was a very beautiful day for me alright).

As we were waiting in the line to buy bus tickets, I started looking around at all of the people. As I watched each person walk by, I truly felt the love God has for them. I've never felt this before this strongly.

Doctrine and Covenants 18:10-11

 "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God;

For, behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him."

I looked at each person and knew in my heart that they were all beloved children of God. That He knows them intimately, their hearts their trials their weaknesses. That God sent His Son to suffer for each and every one of them. To redeem them! This moment was perspective changing. I have a new sense of purpose as a missionary and as a person! To maintain this love that I felt for them. To strive each day with all I can to show it and help people come unto their Savior.

If not any one else in the entire world, God loves you and Jesus loves you. (and I try really hard:)

And also I just love this scripture --

Doctrine and Covenants 109:73  "That thy church may come forth out of the wilderness of darkness, and shine forth fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners"

It reminds me of this...

Matthew 10:16  "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

okay! have a good week haha that's all.

FEBRUARY 21, 2022

 Ether 12:4

"Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God."

Everything comes to pass in the Lord's timing. Faith that He fulfills His promises is an anchor to our souls.

He prepares, always prepares something better for us, "a better world", even if we can't recognize it at the time.

Trust in that promise this week. I love you!

FEBRUARY 14, 2022 -- Happy Birthday to Jonathan!!

Happy Birthday to my big brother, Jonathan! :)

This week I think I learned about humility. And loving people. And increasing my faith. And just absolutely sending it and opening your mouth.

But one of my favorite things from this week was our bus ride home from Córdoba. We came into the city in the morning for District Council (shout out to Elder Scott, in my district now!!) and when we finished we got on what would be about an hour back to Carlos Paz. I fell asleep and when I woke up after a little I reached up to fix the air vent when I saw a person standing to the side of me in the aisle because all the seats were already full. I pointed the air vent at him and said hi and HE ASKED ME!! What book I was carrying (The Book of Mormon). We talked about Jesus and exchanged phone numbers.

Then we were walking home from the bus terminal and a man stopped us in the road asking if we were missionaries and GAVE US his address to come visit the next day.

The Lord is really putting people in our path that are ready to hear about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ! I'm supposed to be finding them, but they're literally coming straight to us. (sometimes, not all the time:)

It makes me think... who else, if we'd just open our mouths and share, would be blessed by this message of Christ?? Sometimes that's all it takes, open your mouth and trust and pray that the Lord will help fill it.

And now, I love riding busses. The people can't walk away from you 😎 !!

Pictures this week include!!

District picture-- grido is an ice cream store that's basically on every corner

FEBRUARY 7, 2022

Bueeenaaass!

I don't have much to say other than I saw the hand of the Lord this week. Yesterday was a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful day. Four of our friends came to church and two shared their testimonies during Testimony Meeting. They have such sweet hearts and pure faith that Christ can change their lives.

I'm grateful to be a missionary. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ. I know He is my Savior and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a Gospel of Redemption. A gospel of love.

At the end of our Sacrament Meeting yesterday, our friend Mario turned to me and said, "It's true. This Church is true."  And I know with all my heart that he's right.

I love you very dearly. Have a good week:)
